  Amolatar District Police have thwarted an unauthorized demonstration organized by locals in the Namasale area of Amolatar District. The protest was in response to allegations made by Miss Katushabe Juliet, an administrator of an estate believed to belong to the late Kawaki Nafutali, a former resident of Bungu cell in Namasale Town Council, Amolatar District.  Miss Katushabe claimed ownership of the land, equivalent to 100 acres which was allegedly occupied by Mr. Okello Moses from Bungu cell. The disputed land has remained vacant since the tribal conflict in 1979. Through her legal representation, Eyotr & Co.
