Lira, Uganda - May 26, 2024 - Mr. Theophillus Tibihika, the Town Clerk of Lira City Council, was involved in a fatal road accident on the Lira-Apac Road this Monday morning. He passed away instantly.

Mayor Atul Sam has confirmed the sad news. "This is a big loss for our community," Mayor Sam said. "Mr. Tibihika was a dedicated public servant. Our thoughts are with his family."

Further details about the accident are still being investigated. The community is asked to give the family privacy during this difficult time.
