Lira Catholic Diocese Mourns the Loss of Rev. Fr. Albert R. Ocen

Lira, Uganda - The Lira Catholic Diocese is in mourning following the passing of a beloved and dedicated man of God, Rev. Fr. Albert Reinser Ocen. Fr. Ocen passed away this morning at 6:27 AM at Atapara Hospital at the age of 89.

The sad news has deeply affected the diocese and the larger Catholic community, as Fr. Ocen was known for his unwavering dedication and spiritual leadership. A formal announcement from the church hierarchy is anticipated, but in the meantime, the faithful are encouraged to keep Fr. Ocen's soul in their prayers.

Fr. Ocen leaves behind a large extended family of christians, including many who considered him a father figure. His passing marks a difficult time for the diocese and the community, who are grappling with the loss of a cherished spiritual leader.

Rev. Fr. Albert Reinser Ocen will be remembered for his profound impact on the lives of many and his steadfast service to the church. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

  11. This is a sorrowful mystery but it's also much of a joyful mystery because he might not take long in purgatory to cleanse the smallest bits of dark spots, since he worked harder for this paradise destination
