Legendary Musician Dr. Jose Chameleone Hospitalized for Further Treatment

Kampala, Uganda — The music fraternity and fans across Uganda have been thrown into concern after reports emerged that celebrated musician and legendary icon, Dr. Jose Chameleone, has fallen ill and has been admitted to a medical facility for further treatment.

According to close family sources, the "Wale Wale" hitmaker started feeling unwell earlier this week and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. While details of his condition remain scanty, his family has assured the public that he is receiving the best possible care.

“We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers from fans and friends. Dr. Jose Chameleone is in good hands, and we are hopeful for a quick recovery,” a family representative stated.

Chameleone, born Joseph Mayanja, is one of the pioneers of modern Ugandan music and has influenced countless artists in East Africa and beyond. His contributions to the industry, with hits spanning over two decades, have earned him legendary status and a place in the hearts of millions.
