Dr. Agnes Atim Apea Urges Amolatar Community to Embrace Education and Modern Farming

 

Amolatar District – Speaking at the send-off ceremony of Mzee Tile Enac today, Dr. Agnes Atim Apea, the Woman Member of Parliament for Amolatar District, called on the community to prioritize education and adopt modern farming methods to ensure sustainable development.

Dr. Apea highlighted the transformative power of education in breaking cycles of poverty and urged parents to invest in their children's future by sending them to school. She emphasized that education equips individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a prosperous society.

On modern farming, Dr. Apea encouraged the community to shift from traditional practices to more innovative methods, such as improved crop varieties, mechanization, and climate-smart techniques. She stated that adopting modern farming would enhance agricultural productivity, improve household incomes, and ensure food security.
