Engola Samuel Junior Set to Compete for the Oyam North MP Seat to replace his late Father, Hon Minister Charles Okello Engola Macodwogo

In an interview today with Radio QFM in Lira City, Engola Samuel Junior. The son to the former minister Hon. Sam Engola Macodwogo RIP, Engola Samuel Junior confirmed to the entire Lango Sub Region and Oyam North in Particular that he will Contest to replace his fallen father and continue with the great work his father was doing in Oyam North.

Earlier on, MP Ayoo Tony of Kwania County, who spoke on behalf of the family members, declared Engola Junior, son of the deceased, as the one endorsed by family members to replace Minister RTD COL. Okello Mac Odwogo on the NRM ticket.

Ayoo said it is legally known that if a member of parliament dies, it is mandated that the Electoral Commission conducts an election within 90 days

The family petitioned H.E. the President that when the time comes for a by-election, Junior Engola should be considered to replace his father, Okello Charles Engola Mac-Odwogo.
