Solar Light Installations and Financial Boost for Nancy & Shaunti School for the Deaf

Lira, Uganda – Significant advancements are underway at Nancy & Shaunti School for the Deaf, aimed at enhancing the school's infrastructure and overall environment for its students. Solar light installations are currently being conducted at both the Primary and Secondary sections of the school. This initiative is set to improve lighting conditions, ensuring a safer and more conducive learning environment for the students.

In addition to the ongoing installations, the school has received a substantial financial boost. A sum of 17.5 million shillings was handed over to Hon. Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero for the development of the institution. Madam Emma Okite, the Dean of Students at Lira University, received the funds on behalf of Minister Dr. Jane Aceng Ocero.

Madam Okite expressed gratitude for the contribution, stating, "We shall wait for the Minister to come back, then prioritize how the money shall be spent." This statement underscores the commitment to careful and strategic planning in utilizing the funds to address the school's most pressing needs.

These developments are part of ongoing efforts to enhance the educational experience for deaf students at Nancy & Shaunti School, reflecting a broader commitment to inclusivity and quality education in the region.
