King Blood Moon Allocates 60 Million for Northern Uganda Music Association

 

Lira, Uganda - King Blood Moon, the coordinator for the Northern Uganda Music Association, has announced the allocation of 60 million UGX for the development of music offices across the Northern regions of Uganda. Each of the four regions—Karamoja, Lango, Acholi, and West Nile—has been allotted 15 million UGX.

In a recent statement, King Blood Moon detailed his progress, stating, "I have received 60 million UGX for Northern Uganda and have given 15 million UGX to each region. I started by commissioning the West Nile office, proceeded to Karamoja and Gulu, and lastly, I will be doing it for my Lango home musicians next week."


He further confirmed that the Lango Musicians Association Ltd (LAMA) has received its 15 million UGX allocation. "LAMA is going to commission the office latest next week after purchasing some office equipment," he added.

This funding aims to bolster the infrastructure and support for musicians across Northern Uganda, enhancing the region's music industry's growth and development. The initiative is expected to provide significant support and resources to local musicians, fostering talent and creativity.
