Hon. Dr. Agnes Atim Apea Urges Amolatar District to Embrace Girls' Education

Amolatar, Uganda — Hon. Dr. Agnes Atim Apea, the Woman Member of Parliament for Amolatar District, has called upon the local community to prioritize and support girls' education. In a recent phone interview with our Lango Times writer, Dr. Apea emphasized the importance of educating girls, noting that it promises a brighter future for families and significantly reduces domestic violence.

Dr. Apea encouraged both girls and boys to participate actively in creating a safe and supportive environment for girls. She highlighted the positive impact educated girls can have on their families and communities, stressing that an educated girl is better equipped to support her family and children, thereby fostering stability and prosperity.

"Educating girls is not just about their personal development; it is about securing the future of our families and communities," Dr. Apea remarked. "When girls are educated, they contribute to reducing domestic violence and can provide better support to their families."

She called on all members of the Amolatar community to work together in overcoming the challenges faced by girls, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive academically and socially. Dr. Apea's message is a powerful reminder of the transformative power of education, especially for young girls in rural areas.
